Roadside Technician

Mobile Vehicle Technician – The role is based in the Barnet, London area, but location can be tailored to your living area. Salary is £40,000 basic with overtime potential up to £60,000. Hours vary with shift patterns Monday to Sunday, 40 hours, earliest start 6am, latest finish 12am. Overtime is available paid at time and a half. Reference: 29635.

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

• Level 3‑qualified Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent);
  Level 2 candidates considered if they can demonstrate their qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
• A full UK driving licence – no more than 9 points or bans.
• Demonstrated technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
