Sous Chef : Events

Overview

Were recruiting a Sous Chef to join a highly respected luxury event catering company in North London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef with a background in either high:end events, Rosette/Michelin restaurants or quality contract catering, who enjoys working in a calm, structured kitchen and delivering exceptional food  role is predominantly Monday to Friday with a 5pm finish, offering strong work:life balance.

During peak periods, you’ll support up to two evening events per week in London.

• Salary up to A GBP 55,000
• 40:45 hours per week
• Predominantly Monday to Friday
• Evening events typically once per week
• Paid overtime or time off in lieu
• Supportive, structured and well:run kitchen environment

• Support the Head Chef and Executive Chef in the day:to:day kitchen operation
• Deliver food for luxury events ranging from canapés receptions to large:scale events
• Maintain high culinary standards, consistency and presentation
• Help lead, mentor and develop the chef brigade
• Contribute to smooth service for events of up to 2,000 guests

• Proven experience in high:end events, Rosette/Michelin restaurants or quality contract catering
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and mentor teams
• Excellent commitment and longevity within previous roles
