Children's Therapist

Zel Recruitment is acting as an employment business in relation to this role. We are domestic abuse and VAWG specialist recruitment agency.

You will work in the wider community to provide individual therapeutic support for children affected by domestic abuse, to support mothers, and organise a range of play activities and outings. Youll also be ensuring that relevant child protection and data collection procedures are followed.

Our client is looking for an experienced childrens therapist (or Art/Play therapist) who is enthusiastic, proactive and creative. You will have a relevant therapeutic qualification and experience of working with children, possibly including running groups. Youll be passionate about the idea of supporting children and young people to come to terms with their experience of domestic abuse. Knowledge and understanding of domestic violence is also essential.

£30K per annum pro rata 21 hours per week
