Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Location: Hendon, North London

Year 2 TA.
A welcoming 2‑form entry primary school in Hendon is on the lookout for a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with autism and ADHD on a 1:1 basis. This is a full‑time role starting in September, with a long‑term placement in a supportive setting.

What the role involves- 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with autism and ADHD
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning
- Using structure, patience and creativity to build engagement
- Helping the pupil regulate, access the curriculum and build confidence
- Being a key part of a caring, experienced team
- Experience supporting children with autism and ADHD (school‑based preferred)
- A nurturing approach and clear communication style
- Ability to stay calm, consistent, and proactive
- Someone who truly ‘gets it’ when it comes to behaviour, sensory needs and trust‑building
- Weekly PAYE pay—no umbrella company in sight

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, but in some cases the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
