Must be on the DBS Update Service We are looking to appoint an experienced GCSE English Lecturer for temporary sickness cover, starting immediately and continuing until 27 March 2026.

This role involves delivering GCSE English and Functional Skills English across multiple campuses, supporting learners aged 16-19 to develop confidence and improve their English skills.

Weekly Timetable (12 hours total)
Monday9:15-10:45 - GCSE EnglishOR
11:00-12:30 - Functional Skills English

Wednesday
15:15-16:45 - GCSE English Thursday9:15-10:45 - GCSE English 11:00-12:30 - GCSE English 13:00-15:00 - GCSE English Friday9:15-10:45 - GCSE English 11:00-12:30 - GCSE English 13:30-15:00 - GCSE English Requirements

MUST be on the DBS Update Service Relevant teaching qualification

Experience delivering GCSE English Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills

Interview Availability Thursday: 15:00-17:00

Friday: 15:00-16:00
