The role
- Provide 1 hour of one-to-one tuition per week
- Plan and deliver engaging, structured sessions
- Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of the student
- Monitor progress and provide feedback as required
- Hold a recognised teaching or tutoring qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Have experience supporting KS4 / GCSE-level students
- Be patient, reliable, and supportive
- Be able to build positive working relationships quickly
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
- £25-30 per hour, depending on experience
- Flexible, short-term tutoring opportunity
- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
- Rewarding role making a real difference in a student's education
