Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-hour lessons once a week for 8 weeks.

• Tailor lessons to the student's needs, focusing on both language and literature aspects of the GCSE curriculum.

• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that takes into account the student's SEMH needs.

• Monitor the student's progress and provide regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

• Engage with parents or guardians to keep them informed of progress and discuss any areas for development.

• Qualified Teacher or experienced tutor with a strong background in teaching GCSE English.

• Experience working with students who have SEMH needs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.

• A DBS check (on the Update Service) or willingness to undergo one.
