Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? An exciting opportunity has arisen in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the heart of Barnet, London, for a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team.

About the Role:

This is a part-time, term-time-only position ideal for someone looking to make a genuine difference in children’s lives while maintaining work-life balance. You will be working across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH. The role involves both one-to-one and small group work, helping children access the curriculum and thrive socially and emotionally.

Requirements

• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly within EYFS, KS1, or KS2

• A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to supporting pupils with additional needs

• Ability to work effectively both one-to-one and in small groups

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with teachers, SENCO, and parents
