GCSE English tutor

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver 1-hour lessons once a week for 8 weeks.

Tailor lessons to the student's needs, focusing on both language and literature aspects of the GCSE curriculum.

Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that takes into account the student's SEMH needs.

Monitor the student's progress and provide regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

Engage with parents or guardians to keep them informed of progress and discuss any areas for development.

Key Requirements:

Qualified Teacher or experienced tutor with a strong background in teaching GCSE English.

Experience working with students who have SEMH needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.

A DBS check (on the Update Service) or willingness to undergo one.
