We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN) to join our Long Term Care (LTC) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for residents with psychiatric and mental health needs.
• Monitor and document residents’ mental health status and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding mental health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records and documentation.
• Respond promptly and effectively to psychiatric emergencies or behavioral changes.
• Adhere to all regulatory and facility policies and procedures.

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in psychiatric nursing, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Good computer skills, including proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and resident needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
