Inthis role you will
- Create and maintain accurate material schedules across a 0‑12 week horizon to support production plans.
- Monitor stock levels and trigger replenishment actions to prevent supply disruption.
- Raise and manage purchase orders in SAP and update material status to reflect lead times and receipts.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, quality, and production to resolve shortages and change requests.
- Track and report material performance metrics and escalate risks or delays to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement activities to simplify processes and improve on‑time material availability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in materials scheduling, planning or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands‑on use of SAP or equivalent ERP systems for ordering, inventory and scheduling.
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail to manage stock levels and order timing.
- Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and supply partners.
- Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to act quickly under pressure.
- Right to work and able to be on‑site as required; this secondment is on‑site or hybrid depending on site needs.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practice (GMP) and quality systems.
- Familiarity with planning concepts such as safety stock, lead time, and demand smoothing.
- Experience supporting New Product Introductions or launch activities.
- Proficiency with Excel and data analysis to monitor trends and present findings.
- Previous exposure to inventory cycle counts, stock reconciliations and variance investigations.
