The Department of Engineering at Durham University is seeking to appoint a Professor in Electrical Engineering. We welcome applications from individuals with research and teaching interests in experimental power electronics, machines, and drives. Candidates with a focus on renewable energy, space, aerospace, power distribution, and the reliability of electrical machines are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will engage in research-led teaching within the department.

Applicants should ideally be Chartered Engineers. Those not yet professionally qualified should demonstrate a strong desire and ability to achieve Chartered status.
