Mechanical Design Engineer
I am currently working with a great company who specialise in designing and manufacturing advanced RF components. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll lead mechanical engineering efforts for cutting-edge microwave and RF subsystem projects, contributing to the development of high-performance products used in a variety of sectors. The main purpose of the role is to provide end-to-end mechanical engineering leadership for microwave and RF subsystem projects.

The Mechanical Design Engineer’s Role:
Create models and drawings using 3D CAD in SolidworksResponsible for the management and control of engineering drawings and documentsCompile manufacturing documentation and support reliability analysis and testingManage changes through the ECN proceduresInvestigate new suppliers for existing and new technologies for cost reductionDeploy manufacturing documentation using the current systems in placeResponsible for the upkeep and improvement of existing generic processes, maintenance, and standards documentationExperience needed for this Mechanical Design Engineer:
Experience with 3D CAD in SolidworksDegree or equivalent in mechanical engineering2D and 3D Solid modelling experienceKnowledge of machining, casting, moulding, coating, and plating processesISO and BS standardsHighly motivated individual able to interface effectively with internal and external customersWhy You Should Join as A Mechanical Design Engineer:
