Night Shift Parcel Sorter – IG11 area of London

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading parcel courier client based in the IG11 area of London This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing operation with long-term prospects.

Night shifts, 1am – 10:00am
Pay Rate:
From £12.21 per hour (PAYE)
Job Type: Ongoing role with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate

About the Role

As a Parcel Sorter, you will play a key role in ensuring parcels are processed accurately and efficiently to meet delivery deadlines. This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately sort and organise incoming parcels by route and destination

* Operate conveyor belts, scanners, and other warehouse equipment

* Ensure parcels are correctly labelled and categorised

* Work closely with team members to maintain smooth workflow and meet deadlines

* Identify damaged parcels and follow company procedures for reporting and handling

* Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, maximising space efficiency

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

* Follow all company health, safety, and security policies

What We’re Looking For

* Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or parcel sorting role is desirable but not essential

* Ability to stand for long periods and lift parcels of varying weights

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

* Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

* Flexibility to work night shifts and occasional overtime

* Own transport or reliable means of getting to site
