Are you a compassionate, flexible and committed practitioner with a passion for supporting learners with complex needs?

The Governing Body of Idris Davies School 3–18 is seeking to appoint three enthusiastic and dedicated SNRB Teachers — one in our Primary Phase and two in our Secondary Phase — to join our brand‑new Specialist Resource Base provision. As one of the first 3–18 schools in Wales, we pride ourselves on collaboration, innovation and giving every pupil – every opportunity – every day.

You’ll be joining a forward‑thinking team at an exciting moment in our development. Our new SNRBs will support learners with a broad range of complex learning profiles, each in small, well‑resourced classes supported by highly skilled LSAs. You will play a vital role in shaping high‑quality, personalised provision from the very beginning.

• Shape high‑quality, personalised provision for learners with complex learning profiles.
• Deliver flexible, child‑centred learning across small, well‑resourced classes.
• Collaborate with highly skilled LSAs to support students effectively.
• Contribute to the development of the Specialist Resource Base provision.

• Teacher qualification and experience in an ALN setting.
• Passion, resilience, and creativity needed to deliver flexible learning.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a specialist resource base environment.

• A highly inclusive school community with a strong track record of supporting vulnerable learners.
• Purpose‑built specialist environments across both phases, including sensory spaces, intervention rooms and outdoor learning areas.
• A comprehensive professional learning programme and opportunities for career development.
• A collaborative ALN team led by an experienced ALNCo and Deputy ALNCo.
