Skilled Trade Maintenance Technician

Primary Job Function: Maintain Machine/Equipment in top working conditions to minimize and eliminate downtime. Perform emergency repair of machine/equipment during production. Perform installation, removal or modification of production machine/equipment. Accomplish any and all work assignments as directed by management.

• Perform emergency repairs of machine and equipment during production.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on machine/equipment.
• Perform work on new machine/equipment.
• Provide support in supplying quality parts for customers.

• Required paperwork to be filled out and submitted in a timely manner.
• Training on new types of equipment used for production and maintaining equipment.
• Training of production, maintenance and engineering associates on equipment.
• Training and mentoring of Maintenance Trainees in the maintenance department and processes.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with full range of operations, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and machine maintenance.
• Knowledge, skills and abilities in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical principles, systems, troubleshooting and repair: robotics, PLC and assisted automation, mechanical handling systems, maintenance and repair.

• Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Able to tolerate standing for 8 hours or more.
• Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, gripping, grasping, twisting and reaching throughout the work day.

• Travel within the US up to 5%.
