Fleet Planner; ES

As a Fleet Planner at Van den Bosch Iberia, your responsibilities lie in the daily management of our drivers. You will be part of Team Trucking at our Barcelona office and with your fellow fleet planners and truck planners. Together with the other planners, you will be responsible for the operational coordination of international transports within Spain, Portugal and southern France.

As part of that mission, you will play a key role in making our smart bulk logistics a reality. You are responsible for your own group of drivers and trucks. You ensure that both productivity and quality of work are continuously improved. In close cooperation with the Truck Planners you translate the schedules to the drivers so that the trips are executed as efficiently as possible.

You will also work with the customer service and master planning team to ensure a smooth operational flow. A proactive attitude and clear communication are therefore indispensable. You make our fleets run as efficiently as possible!

Knowledge of bulk transport is nice to have, but this is not a requirement. To get to know Van den Bosch and our industry, you will participate in the extensive induction programme at our headquarters in the Netherlands. After this is completed, you will join your colleagues to start working on your own. In this position, it is important that you are strong and can switch quickly to keep the operation running.

• You have at least 3 years of experience as a planner, affinity with transport is a must;
• Experience in working with drivers and managing their schedules;
• Good command of English and Spanish, French and/or Portuguese is an advantage;
• Current residence in or near Barcelona.
