Who are we?

EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe's largest network for transport innovation in cities.

Our mission is to accelerate change towards a sustainable model of urban mobility and livable urban spaces. We connect public and private actors and provide them with access to markets, talent, finance and knowledge.

Using cities as living labs, our industry, research and university partners will demonstrate how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by transporting people, goods and waste in smarter ways.

Join our team

Be part of a team where the City Partnerships Intern supports the City Partnerships team in strengthening engagement with public authorities across Europe and enhancing their participation in EIT Urban Mobility programmes.

The selected candidate will contribute to city insight development, ecosystem intelligence, partner coordination, innovation matchmaking preparation and knowledge management.

This role offers hands‑on exposure to European innovation ecosystems, public sector engagement and urban mobility funding mechanisms. It is designed for candidates seeking responsibilities in analysis, coordination and stakeholder engagement within a European context.

  • Contribute to city impact stories and presentation materials to strengthen the visibility of projects, peer‑to‑peer learning and strategic outcomes.
  • Assist in delivering citizen engagement and training activities, including coordination, outreach, evaluation and communication.
  • Contribute to broader City Partnership team activities and support the implementation of EIT Urban Mobility’s strategic agenda.
