Senior Backend Engineer (.NET - FinTech

Inbest Me is a Fin Tech company founded in Barcelona in 2016. We provide automated wealth and savings management services through personalized investment portfolios composed of ETFs and other financial instruments. Today Inbest Me serves thousands of clients and manages more than €250M in assets
. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our development team and help evolve our investment management platform.

This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role working in a small team of experienced engineers.

You will help design, build, and improve the backend services that power portfolio management, client accounts, reporting, and integrations with financial providers. This is not a managerial role
. We are looking for someone who enjoys building reliable systems and solving real engineering problems.

Must have legal authorization to work in Spain (no visa sponsorship available).

• Design and implement backend services using. NET Core
• Maintain and evolve the existing Inbest Me investment platform
• Take ownership of backend components from design to production
• Develop and extend REST APIs
• Build integrations with brokers, payment providers, and third-party services
• Write high-quality, scalable, and fault-tolerant code
• Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Participate in technical discussions and collaborate closely with senior engineers
• Contribute to CI/CD and cloud infrastructure improvements

• 8+ years of backend development experience
• Strong experience with. NET Core
• Strong experience with SQL and backend data modelling
• Experience with Mongo

• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Experience building and operating applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to work autonomously in a senior engineering team
• Good command of English
