Senior Agentic AI Developer

Hybrid from Barcelona (an indefinite Spanish employment contract)

We're seeking an experienced Agentic AI Developer to join our Innovation Team on a contract basis. You'll work on pioneering projects developing sophisticated AI agent systems that will drive the next generation of intelligent solutions for the air transport industry.

This is a hands-on technical role where you'll design, build, and deploy agentic AI systems using cutting-edge frameworks and cloud infrastructure.

Our customer’s Innovation Team focuses on identifying, prototyping, and validating emerging technologies that can transform air travel. The team works on strategic initiatives that combine technical excellence with business insight, exploring how AI, automation, and other breakthrough technologies can address real-world challenges in the aviation and transport sectors.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience building production-grade AI/ML systems, with at least 2 years specifically in agentic or LLM-based architectures.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python development
• Proven expertise with Lang Chain and/or Lang Graph frameworks
• Strong knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their practical applications
• Experience building agentic AI systems and multi-agent workflows
• Solid understanding of RAG architectures and vector databases
• Proficiency with Azure cloud services and deployment patterns
• Experience with MLOps practices and AI observability tools
• Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques and optimization
• At least B2 level of English.

• Demonstrated track record in building production AI/ML systems
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work in ambiguous environments
• Excellent communication skills for technical collaboration
• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward

• Experience in the travel, transport, or aviation industry
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI Service
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML systems
• Background in software architecture and design patterns
• Understanding of AI safety and responsible AI practices
• Familiarity with other AI frameworks (Auto Gen, CrewAI, etc.)

• Design and develop agentic AI systems using Lang Chain/Lang Graph frameworks
• Build sophisticated RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementations
• Implement context memory management for both short-term and long-term interactions
• Create complex agentic workflows that orchestrate multiple AI capabilities
• Develop observability and monitoring solutions for AI agent performance
• Deploy and maintain AI systems on Azure cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with the Innovation Team to prototype and validate new AI concepts
• Document technical architectures, patterns, and best practices

• Build robust backend systems supporting multi-agent architectures
• Implement prompt engineering strategies for optimal agent performance
• Create evaluation frameworks to assess agent quality and effectiveness
• Integrate AI agents with existing SITA systems and data sources
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of AI deployments
