We are now looking for a Backend Developer to join our Barcelona team and help us build and scale high-quality mobile experiences across our consumer app portfolio.

We are looking for Backend Developers to join our engineering team. In this role, you will build and maintain the services that power our mobile and web applications used by millions of users globally. Your work will span from designing scalable microservices and APIs to supporting AI-powered features and model deployments. You’ll contribute to highly scaled, performance-critical products where reliability, speed, and clean architecture matter.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services supporting mobile and web clients.
• Build and evolve microservices and RESTful APIs with clean, maintainable architecture.
• Deploy, monitor, and support AI models and data-driven services in production environments.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed systems.
• Collaborate closely with mobile, frontend, AI, product, and Dev Ops teams to deliver new features end to end.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and proactively improve system stability and observability.
• Contribute to code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation.

• 2+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in backend development using Node.js and/or Python
  .
• Experience designing and working with microservices architectures and RESTful APIs
  .
• Solid understanding of databases, data modeling, and performance optimization
  .
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  .
• Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals.
• Ability to contribute effectively in high-scale environments handling large volumes of traffic and data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with Google Cloud services (e.g., Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, App Engine) and Firebase.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  .
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops best practices.
• Understanding of backend security principles and secure API design.
• Exposure to machine learning workflows, model deployment, or AI-related infrastructure.
