** About the role
**** This is an onsite based role in Barcelona, Spain.
**** Your Tasks
*** Design, implement, and maintain embedded firmware (C/C++) for hardware subsystems.
* Develop low-level drivers, control loops, and real-time components for microcontrollers.
* Work hands-on with prototype instruments and laboratory tools.
* Translate product requirements into detailed firmware specifications.
* Create manufacturing tests, calibration routines, and service diagnostics.
* Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams.
** Your Profile
*** Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Automation) or Physics.
* Experience in scientific or industrial instrumentation, preferably regulated environments.
* Strong programming skills (Python, C, C++).
* Knowledge of AI/ML and data processing is a plus.
* Advance level of English, both written and spoken (required).
