ACCOUNTING

Mission
Working in Barcelona, will be responsible for the Accounting using SAP, in compliance with local legal and tax requirements, as well as the corporate closing calendar, providing said service to the Company with the expected quality standards.

Tasks and responsibilities
Guarantee that the accounting books are aligned with de Headquarters Accounting Group guidelines and ensure the correct postings of all the accounts ensuring that the accounting closing follows the corporate calendars.
As the responsible of all Balance accounts and bookkeeping for all monthly closings:
Confirm with the different areas the balance of accounts and its regularization if needed.
Review transitory bank accounts
Post and match the payroll interfaces
Prepare and post tax payments and accruals.
Prepare, review and document the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss statement
Provide the information required by Auditors and Tax Inspectors
Participate in the preparation of the Annual Accounts
Education
~ Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant studies.

Specific knoweledge
Accounting
Taxation (Experience in spanish tax delcaration)
Advanced level of English and Spanish.
Knowledge of SAP Finance
Spanish law.
Experience
~ Minimum 5 years of experience in a multinational company in the accounting department and/or Shared Services working with SAP.
