Skin Care Formula Development Executive

Reporting to the Head of Product Development
, you will own the creation and development of breakthrough formulations for Dr. Barbara Sturm
, from concept to scale‑up and launch.

• Test new ingredients and run experimental plan
• Create and design formulas in our brand‑new R&D Center
• Coordinate homologation testing and data monitoring for ensuring high quality level and commercial feasibility
• Collaborate closely with the packaging team in designing a product that is valuable for the consumers
• Connect with factories and run technical feasibility, upscale formula on site
• Lead manufacturing transfer process from pilot lab batches to commercial production
• Prepare, review, and change laboratory Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain continuing awareness of scientific and technological advances related to the development of cosmetic products
• Watch and monitor evolution of the trends, markets and competitors
• Contribute to the category strategic innovation axis
• Report progresses to your manager

• 1‑3 years’ experience in developing new formulas for the skincare category
• Passion for the skincare category
• Understanding of cosmetic product attributes and consumer insights related to skincare product development
• Understanding of trends, markets, competitors and beauty categories
• Working knowledge in physical testing and analytical methods
• Familiar with global cosmetic regulations and cosmetic GMP
• Master’s Degree or higher in Science (Chemistry, Cosmetic Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering)
• Spanish and English and/or French is a plus
• Strong oral and written communication skills required
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience in skincare product development in Luxury & Prestige segment
