Materials Planner

Based in Barcelona and working in a hybrid setup
, this role ensures the reliable and timely flow of raw materials for one of our Consumer Tissue manufacturing sites. You will play a key part in maintaining production continuity, mitigating supply risks, and building strong partnerships across internal teams and external suppliers. With a high level of ownership and daily cross‑functional interaction, this is a role where your actions directly influence operational performance.

Material Planning: Secure short-, medium-, and long‑term raw material supply to meet production requirements and prevent shortages.

Cross‑functional

Collaboration:

Partner daily with Production Planning and the factory to address alerts, align priorities, and solve issues quickly.

Supplier Management: Maintain strong supplier relationships, contributing to performance follow‑up and proactive issue resolution.

Inventory & Waste Reduction: Coordinate with key functions to minimize write‑offs and manage phase‑in/phase‑out transitions effectively.

Continuous Improvement: Support new initiatives focused on efficiency, cost optimization, and enhanced planning processes.

Safety Stock Analysis: Review and adjust safety stock levels considering material behavior, constraints, and factory needs.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 4 years of Supply Chain experience, including at least 2 years specifically in Material Planning.

Proficient in SAP (ideally S/4

HANA) and Excel; comfortable working with planning tools and data‑driven decision‑making.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize, collaborate across teams, communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, show ownership, and remain comfortable working with uncertainty.

Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
