SummaryProvides general nursing case to patients in residency clinic or similar health‑care facility following established standards of practice. In conjunction with Practice Manager, supervises clinical personnel and facilitates day‑to‑day operations within the Clinic structure as it relates to the clinical staff.
Formal Education Required- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Applicants with an Associate’s degree will be considered but are required to obtain BSN within three (3) years of employment.
Graduate Program- Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
- Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio
- Meets continuing education requirements in order to maintain license
- One (1) year of RN experience; experience in clinic, physician office environment, or healthcare facility working with the department‑specific patient population preferred.
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and medical care to five and evaluate patient care
- Knowledge or organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment
- Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide ongoing patient care
- Skill in taking medical history to assess medical condition and interpret findings and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence
- Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public
- Ability to maintain quality control standards
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in an emergency
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly

Heavy:
Exerts 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or ten to 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects.
Salary range: $35.09/hr - $42.11/hr.
