Baraboo, WI, USA – Coach is a global fashion house founded in New York in 1941, part of the Tapestry portfolio. The Sales Associate role is integral to the store’s success, driving excellent customer service and sales performance.
Responsibilities- Deliver a personalized, high‑impact customer experience, building ongoing relationships.
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, maintaining the Coach style guide and visual merchandising standards.
- Drive sales through clienteling, sourcing new customers, and maintaining productive, long‑term relationships.
- Utilize Coach’s tools and technology to support relationship building and clienteling.
- Partner with management to create short‑ and long‑term strategies to achieve personal metrics and performance goals.
- Apply product knowledge, pricing and promotional strategy, and cross‑sell relevant add‑ons to meet customer needs.
- Operate the sales floor and backroom, complete daily operational tasks, keep the floor clean, and manage inventory and replenishment.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times, supporting a team‑selling environment.
- Experience: 1‑3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Technical skills: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, mobile POS, internet), walkie‑talkie, and product release sheets.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, up to 50 lbs at times, climb, bend, kneel, and operate the sales floor and stockroom at a fast pace.
- Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and high‑traffic retail days.
