MSA has an opportunity for a Project Engineer Public Works at our Baraboo, WI office . This position primarily supports local municipal engineering clients/projects.

You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in, projects from start to finish. The various projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.

This position is Flex Time eligible and hybrid working arrangements are possible.

Responsibilities

The work you will do

  • Client relations including attendance at client meetings and interaction with existing and new clients
  • Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
  • Design and administration of construction on infrastructure projects
  • Project experience in potable water, storm water and wastewater projects among more
  • Assist with mentoring junior engineering staff
  • Preparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
  • Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
Qualifications

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related) required
  • 4+ years of prior experience within the Public Works market serving multiple clients required
  • PE license required, WI PE preferred.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and client needs required
  • Extensive knowledge of regulations and requirements within Wisconsin preferred
  • Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities preferred
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
