Electrical Estimator; Junior

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an electrical background who’s looking to step into estimating and project support. You’ll join a dynamic team where you’ll assist with pricing, planning, and supporting the delivery of electrical projects. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who wants to develop their technical and commercial skills while working on meaningful projects.

• Assist in preparing accurate estimates and pricing for electrical projects, ensuring all information is recorded and structured correctly.
• Support the project team through the pre-construction and construction phases, helping monitor budgets, timelines, and documentation.
• Work closely with senior estimators, project managers, and clients to gather information and understand project requirements.
• Learn from experienced team members, developing skills in estimating, project coordination, and contract processes.
• Contribute to project planning and help ensure smooth delivery across multiple sectors.

• Electrical qualification or background essential (NVQ, apprenticeship, or similar).
• Some experience working on electrical installations or construction projects—large-scale exposure is a bonus but not essential.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets and basic financial/project software.
• Interest in estimating, project management, and the commercial side of electrical work.
• Good communication, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

• Clear progression into an Estimator or Project Engineer role within a respected electrical services company.
