Position: Teaching Assistant (SEN)

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive special school near Banstead. If you are committed to helping children with complex needs thrive and reach their full potential, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of the students. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with a range of special educational needs.
  • Assisting with the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions.
  • Supporting students with their personal care and well-being.
  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to teachers and other professionals.
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
About You:
