Senior Clinical Therapist – Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) – Diversion Program (Finance)
Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health seeks a licensed clinical therapist to lead our IST diversion program in Banning, CA. The role oversees clinical services for incarcerated adults with serious mental illness, stabilizing clients and preventing competency restoration.

Responsibilities- Lead multidisciplinary team and coordinate care for IST consumers.
- Collaborate with courts, legal representatives, and correctional partners.
- Provide clinical supervision, crisis intervention, and documentation compliance.
- Monitor client progress toward stabilization and competency restoration.
- Valid California license:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). - Minimum two years post‑licensure experience in inpatient or forensic mental health setting.
- Strong computer, organizational, and supervisory skills.
- California Driver’s License required for occasional travel.
Competitive salary with 10% Differential (DTR). 9/80 schedule 7:30–5:00 PM.
