Overview
We are seeking Respite Providers to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, or using the bathroom
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping activities (only cleaning up after consumer, not family)
- Provide companionship
- Support consumers with homework if in school and engage in physical outdoor play and activities to help reach goals
- Previous experience as a Respite Provider, Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
- First aid and CPR-certified
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
