Entry Level Carpenter

What You’ll Do

• Assist with rough and finish carpentry tasks including framing, stair building, and trim installation.
• Work under the direction of lead carpenters and project managers to complete construction tasks.
• Safely operate hand and power tools (training provided).
• Help install windows, doors, siding, and other building components.
• Support job site setup, cleanup, and material organization.
• Learn and apply high-performance building techniques and energy-efficient practices.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain a positive, professional attitude.

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in construction, carpentry, or related work (or completion of trade school/apprenticeship).
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, nail guns).
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and work hard.
• Ability to read basic measurements and use a tape measure accurately.
• Good communication skills and reliability.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

• This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (40 hours/week), with work taking place at various job sites throughout the greater Bangor, ME area with travel up to an hour away. Outdoor work in changing weather conditions is part of the role. We understand that life happens outside of work too. • Competitive starting wage: $20–$30/hour, depending on experience
