Event Security | Part-Time | Cross Insurance Center

This position is committed to providing world‑class service for all Cross Insurance Center events. The Event Security role is responsible for ensuring safety and security for all events. Special security assignments may be available during non‑event days and nights. The security team delivers direct service to our guests and must always exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.50 to $18.00.

This position will remain open until April 10, 2026.

• Respond to requests for assistance from CIC staff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire, medical emergencies, etc.)
• Perform all event and non‑event security duties as assigned
• Conduct building safety inspections (normally pre‑event and post‑event safety checks)
• Admit building staff, suppliers, contractors, visitors, and guests to the facility according to established security procedures.
• Answer information requests from staff and guests during events or as needed.
• Protect Arena equipment, materials, and structures throughout the work schedule.
• Provide regular security functions within the Arena and related areas, prior to, during and after all events.
• Maintain a clean, neat appearance with complete CIC Security Uniform.
• Receive, record, and return all lost and found items according to established team procedures.
• When requested, provide escorts of persons to and from locations within the CIC facility.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Events, Event Managers, and/or Guest Service Coordinator.

• Prior security experience preferred, but not required.
• Able to work Cross Insurance Center events as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English required.
• Ability to work beyond traditional business hours, including nights, weekends, and select holidays, is required.
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Must have earned or can earn valid CPR certification.
• Must demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer‑focused attitude.
