Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Long Term Care

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse for a day shift Long Term Care position requiring a ME or compact RN license and at least 3 years of nursing experience.

Job Details

• Work in a skilled nursing facility specializing in Long Term Care,

• Day shift schedule:
Monday through Thursday,  (10-hour shifts),

• Assignment is 13 weeks in duration,

• Position serves in a charge nurse leadership capacity,

• Local candidates are accepted for this position,

Job Requirements

• Active ME or compact RN license required,

• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience,

• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher required,

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,

Additional Information

• Coordinate and direct total nursing care for assigned residents,

• Serve as a resource for the unit and provide administrative backup in the director's absence,

• Participate in resident and family education,

• Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other team members,

• Responsible for maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality,
