Role DescriptionThis full-time, on-site Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) role is based in Bangor, ME. This position has NO CALL REQUIREMENT. The CRNA will be responsible for administering anesthesia during surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Duties include assessing patients prior to procedures, developing and implementing anesthesia care plans, and monitoring patient responses during and after anesthesia. The CRNA will work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Qualifications- Proficient in the administration of General Anesthesia and other anesthetic techniques
- Strong foundation in Anesthesiology and Nursing practices
- Knowledge of Medicine and Surgery as they relate to anesthetic care
- Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and state licensure in Maine
- Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
- Previous experience in anesthesia care in a surgical setting is highly desirable
