• Weekend Rotation:
  Every other weekend
• Patient Ratio: RN: 1:3-4
• Charting System:
  Cerner (preferred)
• Free parking available
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990-$2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Intermediate/PCU nursing experience OR 2 years of Med/Surg experience with PCU exposure
• First-time travel nurses must have completed two prior 13-week travel assignments
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Trauma nursing experience required; experience with stroke patients and Q2H neuro checks
• Proficient in cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem) and insulin titration
• Ability to float to ED, ICU, and CCU as needed
• Charge nurse experience preferred (please indicate in application)
• Experience with Cerner electronic charting preferred

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to cardiac, neuro, trauma, and medical/surgical patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, manage temporary pacemakers, and deliver post-cardiac procedure care
• Perform neuro checks, manage stroke and trauma patients, and administer high-flow oxygen, chest tubes, and wound vacs
• Initiate and titrate cardiac and insulin drips according to protocol
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomists, respiratory therapists, and hospitalists
• Float to ED, ICU, or CCU as needed for intermediate assignments
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner
• Participate in hospital and unit orientation
