Base pay range

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Assistant Night Shift to join our healthcare team. Starting pay rate - $18 - $20 per hour. The position provides flexible work hours, paid training, and necessary work devices and supplies. The role is in Penobscot, ME, and involves working in the patient’s home environment.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, personal care
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Provide support in in-home tasks, errands, appointments and activities outside of home, such as shopping and light housekeeping
• Assist in medical documentation and record-keeping
• Collaborate with the patient, family, and members of our home health agency to ensure patient well-being

• Experience in nursing home or home community care preferred
• Familiarity with basic medical documentation
• Willing to receive on-the-job training if no history in in-home care or clinical experience
• Knowledge of dementia care practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, basic phone and computer skills
