Position: Travel Ultrasound Technologist - $2,326 per week - 1453008

Overview

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Bangor, Maine.

ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. 40 hours per week.

Shift: 8 hours, days and nights.

Employment Type:

Travel.

Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, and review images to ensure quality suitable for diagnosis.
  • Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam.
  • Review patient medical history, record imaging results, and coordinate care with facility departments.
  • Support the clinical team and participate in the full range of sonography duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy.
  • American Heart Association BLS.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
Contract Details
  • Rate: $2,160 - $2,326 per week.
  • 12-week contract with possibility to extend.
  • AM shifts available.
  • Hospital setting.
