PSS Personal Support Specialist – Adult Homecare

Join Home Hope and Healing Inc. as a PSS Personal Support Specialist to provide client‑centered care in the Hermon area.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1‑on‑1, client‑centered care and services.
  • Work variable shift lengths, primarily day shift, with flexibility for per diem or full time.
  • Coordinate schedule to meet your needs.
Duties
  • Personal hygiene – bathing, grooming, oral care; dressing; meal preparation and feeding; transfer/mobility; safe restroom use and continence management.
  • Activities of daily living: meal preparation; assistance with telephone/email/internet; general housework – laundry, dishes, grocery shopping; maintaining a hygienic residence.

Requirements
  • PSS certificate preferred but not required; must enroll in PSS course upon hire and complete within 6 months with reimbursement.
  • Or possess and maintain an active CNA certification; current PSS or CNA highly preferred.
  • One year of clinical experience in home care preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Successful background check.
