Adjunct - Advanced UX Design Instructor

Description

This advanced course explores in-depth user experience design concepts and strategies including agile user experience design processes, user research, generative design, conceptual design, emotional design, prototyping, and user experience evaluation.

Examples of Duties

* Provide students proper instruction with content, and utilize text books required for this course to achieve programmatic objectives

* Accurately track and assess student progress and maintain Husson University standards

* Advising the Academic Director on proposed curricular changes

* Assisting the department in experiential assessments & exercises where appropriate

* Assist in the research and assessment of industry trends and future technologies concerning curriculum

Additional Responsibilities:

Gathering data and preparing detailed documents

Representing the School off campus when appropriate

Serving on committees, as appropriate

Performing other duties as assigned by the administration

Typical Qualifications

Education:

Masters Degree Required.

MFA or other terminal degree preferred.

Experience:

At least 1-3 years of work experience in related field.

College level teaching experience preferred.

Masters Prepared $933.33 maximum per credit hour

Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour
* Graduate Course

Masters Level Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour
* Graduate Course

Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,100.00 maximum per credit hour
* * Rate is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the course assigned.

Lab Sections Undergraduate:

Masters Prepared $1,150.00 per credit hour

Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,250.00 per credit hour
