Description
Husson University is seeking qualified and experienced instructors to teach the following undergraduate courses in the Exercise Science program:
Principles of Strength and Cardiovascular Conditioning;
Prevention and Management of Chronic Disease.
Note:
This is a face to face position; instructors are expected to be on campus.
The instructor is responsible for preparing and conducting classes, preparing and grading assignments, and holding weekly office hours with students.
Typical QualificationsA Master’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field is required. Ph.D. preferred; ABD considered. Preferred qualifications include:
- experience working in the health and fitness field
- certification or professional fitness experience
- higher education teaching experience
Undergraduate Course:
Masters Prepared $933.33 maximum per credit hour*
Undergraduate Course:
Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour*
Graduate Course:
Masters Level Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour*
Graduate Course:
Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,100.00 maximum per credit hour*
* Rate is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the course assigned.
Lab Sections Undergraduate:
Masters Prepared $1,150.00 per credit hour.
Lab Sections Undergraduate:
Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,250.00 per credit hour.
