Near Bangor, MEDates: ASAP - Ongoing We are seeking a dedicated Anesthesiology physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Bangor, ME. This position is ideal for an experienced anesthesiologist looking to join a critical access hospital in a historic seaport area. Hours:

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Call

Schedule:

Every third, flexible Average Surgical Cases per Day: 14-16, including endoscopy

Key Responsibilities:

Provide anesthesia for general surgical cases, including minor nerve blocks, plexus anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and obstetrical cases Perform pain management procedures, including acute pain management and arterial line insertion Manage and evaluate acute volume and blood pressure issues No supervision of CRNAs required; physicians perform their own cases Prepare the anesthesia cart and handle pre-op documentation using Epic Work with congenial, professional, and helpful OR staff in a facility with three anesthesia sites per day

Qualifications:

Board Certification:
Board Certified ABA required (candidates in the board certification process will be considered) State License:
Licensed in Maine or willing to obtain
