Anaplan Solutions Architect

Permanent – Full time
We’re looking for a Certified Master Ana planner (or aspiring expert) to drive innovation in enterprise financial planning. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll design, build, and optimise Anaplan solutions that power investment decisions and global operations.
Key Responsibilities Anaplan Development & Administration- Innovate financial modeling approaches using Anaplan’s latest capabilities to tackle complex investment challenges.
- Lead the design, build, and deployment of models supporting planning, forecasting, incentive compensation, and portfolio management.
- Maintain and enhance existing models for scalability, performance, and evolving business needs.
- Oversee user provisioning, role-based security, and governance across global teams.
- Act as SME and champion for best practices in model design and administration.
- Develop and manage integrations with ERP, CRM, HR, and data warehouses using APIs and automation tools.
- Partner with IT and data teams to establish reliable ETL pipelines for accurate, consistent data flows.
- Implement solutions to validate, normalize, and transform data across systems.
- Work closely with Finance, Investments, and Operations to translate business processes into technical solutions.
- Deliver actionable insights and provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to maximise adoption.
- Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to leverage advanced modeling and reporting capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members in Anaplan best practices and financial modeling.
- Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimisation, and system enhancements.
- Stay ahead of Anaplan releases and emerging technologies to keep Starwood at the forefront of enterprise planning.
- Strengthen organisational capability through documentation, training, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certified Master Ana planner strongly preferred.
- Understanding Finance requirements and translating these into a technical solution.
- 5+ years in financial systems, enterprise planning, or business solutions, with 3+ years focused on Anaplan.
- Hands‑on experience with system integration tools, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and automation frameworks (VBA, Google Apps Script, MS Power Automate).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, One Cloud, Workday Adaptive Planning, SAP Business Objects) is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communicator, able to bridge technical concepts with non‑technical stakeholders.
