Finance Assistant

Overview

Our client, a reputable and well-established organisation based in Llantrisant, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their finance team. This is a varied role within a small to mid-sized team
, offering exposure to key finance functions including sales ledger
, purchase ledger
, credit control
, as well as management accounts
, VAT
, and other accounting processes. There is excellent potential for professional growth, with opportunities to progress within the finance team.

• Accurately process and reconcile sales and purchase invoices
• Manage credit control
  , including chasing outstanding payments and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Assist with month-end processes
  , reconciliations, and reporting
• Maintain accurate financial records in line with company procedures
• Support the wider finance team with ad hoc finance duties

• Previous experience in a finance role covering sales ledger, purchase ledger, or credit control
• Exposure to management accounts, VAT, or other accounting processes is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Confident user of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally

• Competitive salary of £27,000 - £29,000
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
