They are currently experiencing exciting growth plans with work orders and projects growing at a rapid rate, the company are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to their growing team. The business supply their products worldwide with global reputable brand names and are currently going through A huge growth period which would make it an excellent time to be a part of this company.

• Collaborate with Production to ensure the smooth transition from design to manufacture.
• Provide technical expertise across the business, supporting departments such as Sales, Service, and Production.
• Driving design + development, analysing (risk, failure mode, tolerance) and other project tasks.
• Design and develop products to meet customer specification and advise customers on the best design solutions
• Taking the product from conception to completion, leading design reviews whilst liaising closely with customers and suppliers.
• Comfortable working on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Problem solving techniques (i.e. FMEA / DFMEA / Risk Analysis)
• Experience working as a Design Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using 3D modelling - Solidworks / Auto Desk Inventor
• Solid Mechanical Engineering background.
• Previous experience working with a range of Materials such as Metals, Steel, Plastics etc.
• Ability to analyse product performance.
