The Data Scientist serves as a foundational position for professionals building their expertise in data science, applying analytical skills to contribute to project outcomes under the guidance of more experienced colleagues. This role is centered around honing technical abilities in data handling, modeling, and analysis, while also learning to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations. In contrast to the more senior data science roles, the Data Scientist is characterized by a focus on growth and development, contributing to projects with support, and playing a key role in the collaborative efforts of the data science team to deliver on project objectives and gain valuable experience in the field.

WHAT

YOU WILL BE DOING 💼
  • Support the development of machine learning models and statistical algorithms to address marketing and business challenges, emphasizing interpretability, adaptability to market changes, and business-driven performance metrics.
  • Contribute to rapid prototyping, large-scale data analysis, and solution deployment in collaboration with senior team members to enable informed decision-making and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, and business stakeholders) to understand needs, translate analytical concepts into actionable marketing strategies, and deliver insights applicable across departments.
  • Help build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their marketing and business challenges, contributing to relevant, data-driven strategies that support client retention and growth.
  • Apply industry best practices in data analysis, feature engineering, and model development while continuously learning and integrating new data science and marketing analytics technologies under mentorship.
  • Promote innovation and collaboration within a dynamic team environment, proactively developing technical and marketing expertise, and supporting ethical data practices, regulatory compliance, and transparency in data usage and model deployment.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ✔️
  • 2-4 years of experience extracting actionable insights from complex datasets and presenting findings clearly and accessibly, connecting data science work to business objectives and marketing impact.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, cleaning, transformation, and visualization (e.g., pandas, matplotlib, plotly), with a solid understanding of machine learning and statistical methods applied to business problems.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as GCP, including Big Query, serverless solutions, and foundational machine learning tools.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project and business needs.
  • Excellent communication in English.
