Yogi Fashion Ventures Private Limited is seeking a Fashion Buying Intern with a strong passion for international luxury fashion brands to join our Buying & Merchandising team in Bangalore. This opportunity is ideal for students from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or other reputed fashion institutions, who aspire to build a career in luxury fashion buying and merchandising.

The intern will gain hands-on exposure to the end-to-end luxury buying lifecycle, including global trend research, seasonal buying, assortment planning, and retail performance analysis for premium international brands. This is a full-time onsite role, offering direct mentorship from experienced luxury buyers and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities Luxury Buying & Merchandising Support

- Assist buyers in seasonal buying activities for international luxury fashion brands
- Support preparation of buy plans, option plans, and size curves in line with luxury retail standards
- Assist in maintaining OTB (Open to Buy) and budget trackers
- Support analysis of sell-through, stock turns, and category-level performance

Luxury Market & Trend Research

- Conduct global luxury trend research across fashion capitals such as Paris, Milan, London, and New York
- Track runway collections, brand launches, and market movements
- Prepare trend decks, mood boards, and competitive analysis presentations

Brand & Vendor Coordination

- Assist in coordination with international luxury brands and vendor partners
- Support order processing, confirmations, and delivery follow-ups
- Maintain brand, SKU, pricing, and product master data

Product Assortment & Range Planning

- Support assortment planning across categories, price points, and seasons
- Assist in preparing product selection decks and buying presentations
- Track new arrivals, key styles, and core luxury assortments

Retail Performance & Business Analysis

- Analyze store-wise and channel-wise sales performance
- Identify top-performing SKUs, slow movers, and replenishment opportunities
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly sales, stock, and margin reports

Cross-Functional & Operational Support

- Coordinate with planning, supply chain, visual merchandising, and retail teams
- Support post-buy analysis and store feedback reviews
- Assist during market appointments, showroom visits, and internal buying meetings

Candidate Profile / Eligibility

- Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Management, or Fashion Merchandising
- Must be a student of NIFT, Pearl Academy, or other prestigious fashion institutions
- Strong interest and awareness of international luxury fashion brands and global markets
- Good understanding of luxury product categories, fabrics, craftsmanship, and pricing structures
- Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic reporting tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury retail environment
