Barista

Location: Bengaluru

We are building a  new specialty café  and putting together a strong team from day one. This role is for baristas who care about  good coffee, consistency  and  personal development  and who want to be part of something being built with high standards. Whether you are a  Senior Barista  with experience running the bar or a  Junior Barista  looking to grow and learn, this is a hands-on role where craft, teamwork and discipline matter every day.

Please note:

Prior experience with reputed specialty or premium café chains is an added advantage (for example, Third Wave, Blue Tokai, Araku, Subko and similar brands)
Immediate joiners preferred
Bangalore-based candidates preferred

Role Overview
Senior Baristas will take ownership of bar execution, beverage quality and on-shift standards, while supporting and guiding junior team members. Junior Baristas will support daily bar operations while learning strong coffee fundamentals and service discipline.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare espresso-based beverages and specialty drinks to defined quality standards
Manage espresso dial-ins, recipes, milk texturing and drink presentation
Maintain bar cleanliness, hygiene and equipment care
Operate commercial espresso machines and grinders confidently
Support smooth service during peak hours
Engage guests professionally and recommend beverages when required
Assist with opening, closing and daily operational routines

Experience & Skills
Senior Barista
2–6 years experience in a specialty or premium café
Strong understanding of espresso extraction, grind adjustment and milk steaming
Ability to maintain quality under pressure and guide junior baristas

Junior Barista
0–2 years experience or a strong interest in specialty coffee
Willingness to learn bar workflows, recipes and service standards

For Both Roles
Comfortable working on commercial espresso machines and grinders
Good communication skills in English and local language
Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays
