Key Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients for cooking by portioning, chopping, and storing food properly.
Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately according to recipes.
Prepare and cook food following recipes, quality standards, presentation guidelines, and food preparation checklists.
Prepare cold foods as required.
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently.
Test foods to ensure they are cooked sufficiently and meet quality standards.
Monitor food quality continuously throughout the preparation process.
Set up and break down workstations before and after shifts.
Serve food in proper portions using appropriate receptacles.
Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment to maintain hygiene.
Check and ensure the correct temperature of appliances and food items.
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
Report any maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to the manager promptly.
Complete required safety training and certifications.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and supervisors.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support the team to achieve common goals.
Listen and respond appropriately to concerns raised by other employees.
Ensure adherence to all quality expectations and standards.
Perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, as well as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Work Experience:
At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
